Okay, the protocol license is restrictive, but, is there any ways to create a GPL-library for it?

If one person will accept protocol license, and the other will make an implementation? License don't allow and don't disallow disclosing protocol details or consulting third party developers..

And, the most restrictive paragraph, IMHO:

"The developer has no right to sell, lease or otherwise benefit
from developed on the basis of protocol software, not entering into
an additional agreement with the Company;"

Is it still possible to develop a library with cc at-nc-sa license or something like that?

And, opensource ICQ® client libraries are 100% illegal, but MMP libs will be only 5-10% illegal, which is better any way any way ;-) - Deleteme 02:05, 26 June 2008 (EDT)
