Introduction
NateOn is a protocol used mainly in South Korea, where it is the most popular messenger platform, just before MSN. According to wikipedia.org, NateOn totalize about 7.54 million users.
It is a proprietary protocol and the only official client runs in Windows but an unofficial plugin exists for pidgin[1].
